Renaissance Faire

Since I've been single I've been able to explore and try all the stuff I've been wanting todo (money allowed that is). I found out I love Renaissance Faires! All the time I lived in southern California I wanted to go to the Renaissance Faire and never got to go. So, now that I'm a free spirit, I got a friend from work to go with me a couple of years ago to the Faire in Maryland (MDRF). Needless to say, I was hooked right away and now I go at least one of the days every weekend during the entire run from August to October.

There are many many websites on line about Ren faires and I really don't see the point of trying to repeat the same info here but I thought I would list some of my favorite links.

Pillaged Village: Great place to get feast gear or a pewter mug.
Crimson Gypsy: For bodices and ready to wear garb
Pendragon Costumes: They call these "wench crack"...fabulous leather bodices!
